Product performance
Scandium fluoride (ScF3) is an ionic compound that is slightly soluble in water.Scandium fluoride shows its unusual negative thermal expansion ability, which shrinks when it is heated.This phenomenon can be explained by four oscillations of fluoride ions.The energy stored in the flexural stress is proportional to the four times of the displacement Angle, unlike most other materials which are proportional to the square of the displacement Angle.A fluorine atom and two scandium atoms, as the temperature rises, the fluorine will oscillate more perpendicular to its bond.

Applications
Can make metal scandium and improve alloy performance additive.
